PACU Day 4 - 2nd Post (Great News)

I walked into the ICU to find Ally sitting in a chair next to her bed. Spike was seated next to her. Nurse Boon had assisted Ally into the chair... It was so refreshing to see her sitting, knowing she had gotten up... Good job Wonder Woman!!! There's so much great news to share... I'll try not to leave any out. She's moving!!! There's still pain, but she took a giant step forward today (double entendre intended). She's off morphine - YAY!!! It was causing droopiness, cloudiness and itching. That's over. She's got a new bed - one that circulates air. We're hoping this will ease the itching and improve her overall comfort. She's eating food... She'll also be moving into a regular room tomorrow. We met the head nurse from the 7th floor. After some sweet-talking by Spike Ally was promised a large corner room. I have to run for now. Ally is scheduled for a VERY brief walk in 30 minutes... Congratulations Ally lovers!
